Colorado Business Development Manager

Role Overview:

As the Business Development Manager at Superb, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s revenue growth by leading, motivating and coaching our dedicated team of sales professionals. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, fostering strong relationships with clients, and collaborating cross- functionally to achieve sales targets. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a combination of strategic thinking, team development and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Must be willing to travel and attend in-person work within Colorado.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to maximize individual and team performance.

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve and exceed sales targets, aligning with the company’s overall business objectives.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions that drive customer satisfaction.

Forecasting and Reporting: Accurately forecast sales results and provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive insights to senior management.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience and to gather insights for continuous improvement.

Training and Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and professional development to the sales team to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques.

Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Budget Management: Collaborate with finance to manage the sales budget, ensuring prudent allocation of resources to achieve revenue goals.

Sales Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve the sales processes, identifying bottlenecks and areas for optimization to streamline operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven experience 5+ years in sales leadership, senior living sector is a must.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • MUST HAVE 5 YEARS OF SENIOR LIVING EXPERIENCE.
