We are actively seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Services Intern to assist in the execution of our serviced efforts and growth of our marketplace. In this role, you will support our entire Commercial team by working closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring a smooth user experience, and contributing to platform optimization. This hands-on role offers a chance to gain real-world experience in sales operations, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

We prioritize local applicants who can work on-site in our Lincoln, NE office, but we are open to remote candidates with strong skills and readiness to contribute.

CORE FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with campaign managers/coordinators on closing out campaigns by capturing campaign performance metrics
  • Create recap docs that can be provided to customers
  • Input performance metrics data into Opendorse database to feed shared data visualizations tools
  • Update athlete profiles with current/correct data after participation in a serviced campaign
  • Monitor marketplace activities and inquiries from athletes, agents, or self-service buyers, and provide support/guidance as needed
  • Provide administrative support to the Commercial Services team, including managing documentation, preparing reports, creating dashboards, and other ad hoc tasks
  • Monitor and manage Commercial Services pipeline data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Track and report on key metrics to Commercial leadership, including outreach activity, lead conversion rates, and performance to identify trends
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Sales team to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency, as well as source content for marketing campaigns
  • Work with the marketing team to align promotional efforts with campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other data tools
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or marketplaces is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proactive and resourceful attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
