Overview

Opendorse has spent over a decade helping athletes understand, build, protect, and monetize their personal brands. As the college sports landscape evolves, the need for high-quality custom NIL education and support has never been greater. We’re looking for a dynamic and engaging individual to join our team as Manager, Collegiate Services—a role that’s all about being on the frontlines.

This is a travel-heavy position where you’ll spend most of your time visiting campuses to deliver inspiring NIL education sessions. You’ll speak to large audiences of student-athletes, coaches, and administrators, leading impactful conversations about personal branding and NIL strategy. In addition to your public speaking prowess, you’ll work closely with the Collegiate Services and Strategy team to ensure that Opendorse partners are equipped with cutting-edge resources, exceptional support, and tailored strategies to maximize their NIL success. This is a high-energy role for someone who thrives on collaboration, travel, and the opportunity to make a direct impact in collegiate athletics.

Core Functions and Responsibilities

NIL Education

  • Strong ability to lead and facilitate NIL education sessions with athletes, coaches, support staff, professors, and administrators (virtually and in-person)
  • Cross-collaborate internally to effectively engage with Opendorse partners to manage their account and progression through education servicing
  • Lead and manage digital education resources through scheduling guest speakers, conducting interviews and create corresponding content (video, podcasts, etc.)
  • Write educational articles, blog posts, and other resources to help users and partners stay up to date on NIL trends and best practices
  • Track usage of key data, best practices, and first-hand experiences to ensure Opendorse’s educational content remains fresh and elite
  • Serve as a thought-leader in the athlete personal branding and NIL space, representing Opendorse to existing and potential partners

Partner Strategy and Relationship Management

  • Serve as the key day-to-day contact for a set of Opendorse college partners to provide outstanding service and customer experience from onboarding and implementation to consistent ongoing support and strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the athletic department of assigned partners including administrators, coaches, collectives, etc.
  • Manage operational responsibilities required for ensuring effective platform usage and contract deliverables are met while proactively identifying opportunities to expand the partnership
  • Develop and deliver exceptional resources such as reports, strategic plans, presentations, white papers, and actionable recommendations
  • Stay up-to-date and provide strategy on key NIL policies/best practices for assigned partners to ensure compliance with institutional, state, and NCAA regulations

What we are looking for

  • Outstanding public speaking, presentation, and storytelling abilities to connect with diverse audiences and communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Background in collegiate and/or professional athletics and marketing
  • Proven experience building a personal brand
  • Familiarity with NIL regulations and key trends within collegiate athletics, with an eagerness to learn and stay updated on industry change
  • A highly effective cross-functional collaborator and communicator
  • Excellent organization, writing and editing skills with high-level attention to detail
