OVERVIEW

Opendorse is seeking a Software Engineer to deliver high quality software and push the boundaries of technology to create solutions that make a real impact for our customers. In this position, you are an essential member of the Opendorse Product & Engineering team.

There are unique opportunities for student-athletes, donors, school administrators, NIL directors, and big-name brands, and you will leverage your existing engineering expertise to ensure Opendorse delivers best-in-class software that helps athletes take advantage of their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across our web and mobile applications to help athletes make money.

CORE FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with product to design and implement elegant and efficient solutions to business problems
• Design and deliver quality, secure, and sustainable software
• Champion code quality and architectural best practices
• Self-accountable to short- and long-term objectives
• Pursue continuous personal development and process improvement
• Help guide the evolution of our web and mobile app with new feature development and defect resolution
• Once up to speed, help other software engineers through code reviews, technical mentorship, and taking part in new team member onboarding

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

• 2+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on backend or full-stack development
• Proficiency in .NET/.NET Core and C# for back-end development
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration
• Proficiency with relational databases like SQL Server/Azure SQL
• Experience with the items listed below is valuable but not required

  • React Testing Library or Enzyme or Jest
  • Styled Components
