Role: Market Growth & Community Lead

Location: Lincoln, NE

Primary Focus: 70% Sales & Ecosystem Building | 20% Community Strategy | 10% Operational Oversight

Role Mission

You are the primary ambassador for the brand in Lincoln. Your success isn't measured by how many hours you sit at a desk, but by how many people in the Lincoln business community know our name. You are a "high-velocity" connector who spends their time at networking events, 1-on-1 coffee meetings, and touring prospective members through the space to hit aggressive growth targets.

Key Responsibilities 1. Outbound Sales & Ecosystem Integration
  • Be the Face of Elevator: Represent Elevator in the Lincoln market, building relationships with local chambers, startup communities, and small business networks.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain a "referral engine" by partnering with local service providers and real estate brokers who work with our target audience.
  • Lead Generation: Execute a disciplined outbound strategy (email, social selling, and warm calling) to keep the tour calendar full.
  • The Closer: Own the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through signed membership, with clear accountability to MRR and occupancy targets.
2. Community Strategy & High-Level Hospitality
  • Hospitality Standards: Ensure that while you are "out and about," the building maintains a culture of world-class hospitality. You set the tone for how members are treated and connected.
  • Curated Connectivity: Create meaningful connections between members and your network to drive real business outcomes and positive relationships.
  • Flagship Events: Plan and lead 1 high-impact quarterly event, focusing on attendance, relevance, and overall experience, while coordinating logistics with the team.
3. Operational Oversight
  • Performance Accountability: Maintain accountability for location performance, including revenue, occupancy, and overall community health.
  • Building: Ensure space is consistently clean, functional, and ready to tour, coordinating with the team as needed
  • Member Relations: Serve as the "trusted advisor" for members. You handle high-level renewals and any sensitive member issues, ensuring long-term retention.
  • HQ Liaison: Communicate local market wins, challenges, and facility needs back to the HQ team to ensure the Lincoln location has the resources it needs to thrive.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • The Extroverted Hustler: You get energy from meeting new people and could talk to a brick wall about the benefits of local entrepreneurship.
  • 3–7+ Years Sales Experience: You have a proven track record of "hunting" for leads and closing deals. You view "No" as just a step toward "Yes."
  • Lincoln Native/Expert: You already know the "who's who" in the Lincoln small business scene or have the natural charisma to find out within 30 days.
  • Self-Managed: Must be highly disciplined with your time and CRM management.
  • Values-Driven: You lead with kindness and generosity, believing that helping others grow is the best way to grow our own business.
Success Metrics
  1. New Member Acquisition: Consistently hitting or exceeding monthly lease-up targets.
  2. Outbound Activity: A high volume of external meetings and partnership "touches" per week.
  3. Community Sentiment: Maintaining a vibrant, connected member culture even while you are off-site.
  4. Pipeline Accuracy: Maintaining a healthy and transparent sales funnel in HubSpot.
