The Role
We are seeking a Sales and Community Manager to work alongside the Member Experience Manager and Community Manager to run the Elevator community and building in downtown North Kansas City. This role is about driving membership growth, retention, and ensuring smooth operations for the community. The ideal candidate is driven by results, community, and providing consistent support.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Growth- Achieve occupancy and revenue targets: Track data on occupancy, retention, and revenue growth while executing strategies to attract and retain members.
- Own the sales pipeline: Drive member recruitment through outreach (calls, social media, and emails), tours, networking, and contacting at least 50 leads a week.
- Book tours: Reach out to prospective members and schedule tours for the Member Experience Manager.
- Give tours and close deals: Give tours to prospective members through consultative selling to sell units and grow the community.
- Daily operations: Perform opening and closing tasks, maintain clean workspaces, answer lobby phone, and respond to member requests.
- Reception duties: Greet members with a smile and check in visitors and guests with world class hospitality.
- Manage revenue operations: Perform bill runs, follow up with members behind on payments, and report metrics.
- Manage facility operations: Ensure the building is fully functional, including scheduling maintenance work, ordering supplies, and managing sub contractors (e.g., cleaners, plumbers, etc.).
- Light logistics: Oversee and deliver incoming and outgoing mail, small parcels, and freight shipments to support members’ businesses.
- Work with HQ teams: Collaborate with the Regional Community Manager and leadership teams to align your location with company-wide objectives.
- Provide feedback to HQ: Share insights from your location to help shape broader company strategy, service offerings, and operational improvements.
- Problem solve in real time: Address issues with members, employees, and the building quickly and effectively.
- Attend location meetings: contribute to meetings with the HQ team to align and report metrics on membership growth, revenue, expenses, and activity in the building and community.
- Proven sales experience with a track record of hitting and exceeding revenue goals.
- Customer-first mindset with a passion for helping entrepreneurs grow.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Community-oriented: Joy from engagement, events, and relationship-building.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, and external partners.

- Operational excellence: Experience in facilities management or business operations is a plus.
- Experience in HubSpot is a plus.
